Port Talbot Properties

In 2019 Joyner Group were awarded a 4 Year Fabric Framework by Tai Tarian, one of the largest social landlords in Wales and have responsibility for over 9,000 properties across the Neath Port Talbot County Borough.

In line with Tai Tarians’ target of bringing all their social housing homes up to Welsh Housing Quality Standards, this block of 20 Flats in Neath, Port Talbot was run down and was overdue an uplift. The flats were occupied while the works were completed and this proved to be a challenge, however Joyner Group completed the project with glowing reports from the client and positive feedback from those living in the properties.

In collaboration with Parex - the system manufacturer, we removed the existing insulation within the cavity and installed an 80mm insulated render system to meet Welsh Housing Quality Standards. A full design was compiled in conjunction with project consultants and architects to ensure all works were in accordance with current building regulations.

Installation of 800m2 of Parex insulated render system in a Barleycorn Dash finish withMontanna Brickslips. We also renewed the roof covering incorporating deep flow Alumasc rainwater goods and upgraded the walkways and railings to comply with current building regulations.
